Clarkes Quay, Boat Quay & China Town
Clarkes Quay, Boat Quay & China Town Reviews
Jun 07, 2007
Visit Clarkes Quay area, its great at night when the bars are all open - its really lively, some places have live music and the whole area has a really buzzing atmosphere. It is however quite expensive, about 3 times as expensive of say Little India.
Just down the river from Clarke Quay is Boat Quay, a long line of bars and restaurants. We only visited there during the day and it was very quiet but i am sure it must get busy at night to warrant the amount of restaurants. China Town is also worth a visit. When we were there it was just before chinese new year so it had a very bustling feel to it. Lots of interesting shops and stalls, noodle bars, restaraunts and temples, and pretty much everything you get in China Towns around the world. Watch out for the big groups of people line dancing!
