-climbing the derelict huanghua section of the great wall of china outside beijing, surrounded by frozen lakes, and completely isolated except for me and my friend
-climbing the pacaya volcano in guatemala watching the lava run down it and having to move around a lot so our shoes didn't melt

*NEWSFLASH!* I got accepted onto a dog health program running in West Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia! Yay! For two weeks in July I will live in Aboriginal communities and work on desexing their dogs, administering parasite control, and educating the community about their animals. Should be great! I'll keep you all posted.

Just got back from Central America so my next trip won't be for a while unfortunately :(
I am a veterinary science student in my penultimate year who spends 99% of my time dreaming of where I'd love to travel to next. The remaining 1% of time I try to focus on learning my craft!
I'd love to work overseas one day especially with an organisation such as Vets Without Borders (Veterinaires Sans Frontieres), and I plan on spending a few years working in the UK not long after I graduate (December 2008) in order to fund my grand tour of Europe!
