Civil Defense Heritage Gallery Feb 20, 2013
Civil Defense Heritage Gallery is located in the largest firemen house I have ever seen. It used to be center of all fire defense for the whole island-country. I did not know that it exists and I passed by it every day until day 15th…

Entrance is free and gallery spans on two levels. First one has lots of vehicles and beautiful explanations of how things were done in the past. They really do great job with interactive set ups, and they even have doll falling out through the firemen slide and saying welcome to the gallery hahhaha. Great specimens of historical vehicles are on display and you can even get inside of one and watch the movie about firefighting in Singapore.

Second floor has more modern things on display, with interactive shooting with the spray, some equipment that firemen use this days and lots of good signage.

Lobby is full of insignia and they also have bunch of souvenirs if you are into collecting those things. Very nice museum, warmly recommended.
