City of Havana Tour
City of Havana Tour Reviews
The Fabulous City of Havana Feb 06, 2009
To see Havana from the south east part of the country involves an internal flight which is pretty basic but the flight only lasts for about an hour. The city itself has got so much to see that an overnight stop in a city centre hotel is highly recommended. The Old Havana is by far the most beautiful part with quite stunning architecture. There is also a craft market near the harbourside but avoid it if you are looking for an authentic Cuban experience. Nearly all of the stalls sell the same produce. Throughout the whole of the city you feel really safe and comfortable and you are rarely approached by beggars or hawkers. In my view, it is the most beautiful capital that i have ever visited and would go again any time.
