Glasgow Tour Bus Jan 04, 2009
It's best to get on at George's Square as this is where the tour starts. You can get on and off the bus as many times as you like throughout the day and your ticket lasts for 2 days. The tour lasts for approximately 90 minutes and takes you all around Glasgow. It is best to sit on the top deck as you get to see everything. I would suggest wrapping up warm as when I went it was fairly warm but it was freezing on the top!! The commentary is very good and the bus even slowed down so we could take photographs of different attractions.
It is £9 if you just decide one morning you should do it. If you are planning then it is £8 if you book online. |

…Hostel is a great place to stay, friendly staff, clean, pub in the same building, a 10 minutes walk from Central Station, there's just a bit of noise (not much).
The city sightseeing tour is a good way to see almost everything there is to see in a few hours, but it's expensive.
I recommend the Hunterian Art Gallery and Mackintosh House, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the GOMA. … shopping and design |
