It's a good place if you want to sleep cheap. its a hostel where you can sleep in a common bedroom. the taxi drivers don't know where it is but for 100 krona they find it for you and bring you there. I only slept one night there and its very basic. If you want to shower early in the morning you have the problem that somebody is sleeping in the room where the lights turn on for the showers. the owner is a Peruvian man who is very friendly and will help you immediately if you ask him and he is very passionate about travelling and wants to go to Belgium :p

Nice little hostel ideally located at about a 5 minute walk from the main railway station in a quiet side street with not much noise.

Kitchen area was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Every bed in the dorm room i stayed in had curtains surrounding it with a lamp as well. I guess it kind of needed it, because there were not many dorm rooms in total and they had crammed as many beds into each dorm as possible.

Linen is extra and i think from memory they have packages that include linen, toothpaste, toothbrush and a few other necessities for your stay if you wish to pay extra.

Overall, i was only here 1 night, but have saw nothing about the hostel that had anything significant going against it. Would recommend to others if they asked.

The best around for the smallest budgets Sep 09, 2009
Located bang in the center of Stockholm, the city lodge is the perfect base camp for visiting all that this beautiful city has to offer. With the city's main bus and train stations just a 5 min walk away, it could even be a good base for visiting the whole region.

There are a lot of different types of rooms and quite a wide range of prices (something that the swedes look to be very keen on). From a 18 bed dorm (~20euros) to a private room (about 55 euros a night). I slept in a 6 bed dorm that was fairly small but I wasn't really in Sweden to spend my time in a room so for me it was fine.

The hostel offers free internet, a washing machine, and cable TV. The showers are shared and so are the toilets, there is a common room with a shelf full of up to date tourist guides of Stockholm and Sweden.
