City Hotel Frankfurt am Main

Stayed a total of 4 nights in City Hotel Frankfurt last Nov ('08).

The location leaves a little to be desired because it's really near some night pubs and my mum, whom I was travelling with, got a little shock when we passed by the exterior walls of a pub (with pictures of very sexy women). Despite it being near the shopping belt Zeil, the area was a little too quiet for us to feel safe walking alone at night.

Clean bedrooms and bathroom. However, the time that we were there, there was some minor renovation going on. So, it was a little noisy and dusty along the corridor.

The primary reason why I would still recommend City Hotel to any travellers (the non-fussy kind) is the yummlicious breakfast! Of all the hotels I stayed in when in Germany, City Hotel served the best breakfast! Good variety and nice ambience! One just feels gratified having a good breakfast to start off a day of sightseeing. Honestly, I still miss the breakfast some... ^^
