The Citrus Hotel is in the "real down town area " of KL .

It hasn't got the glitz or the fame of being in the Bukit Bintang area ..but that is part of it's charm and you DON'T pay 5 star prices either.

The Citrus is 5mins walk from Chow Kit Monorail Station , 7myr in a taxi into Bukit Bintang and the main Shopping Malls , or you can hop on a local bus for less than 2myr.

The Hotel rooms are modern , large with comfy beds, ok bathrooms , everything that you need at a very reasonable cost .

Around 180myr a nt inc tax and bfast will get you a decent room including access to lounge where you can browse the internet and get free tea/coffee/soft drinks & light snacks .

The front office Manager Dilmir Singh is very helpful .

I have stayed in many KL Hotels but the Citrus offers real value for money , combining good rooms, full buffet breakfast in a convenient locality near public transport.

Plenty of local eating places nearby and 24hr convenience stores.

Reached my hotel (Hotel Citrus, Jalan Tiang Nom) around 2 pm and checked in to relax for a while. the hotel is having a good restaurant serving delicious food. i had a booking for a club room and got a personalized check-in through the club lounge of the hotel… Left Genting and headed for Kuala Lumpur
