This hotel was defintely my least favorite hotel of the trip. It was more like apartment-style living rather than hotel living. The shower did not work properly, so the bathroom got flooded. Luckily, since the place was more like an apartment, there was a mop and some cloths to clean up some of the mess! The location of the hotel was great. It was right off the Promenade, so it was easy walking distance to all of the fun that Nice has to offer. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel breakfast was decent, but it'd be better to find a nice French bakery and grab something fresh and a little more authentic. The last time I was in Nice, I stayed in an Ibis hotel, which was much better than this one.

Amazing self-catering hotel, 100 yards from the beach. Very cheap at about £30 a night and it has a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you straight to the main train station in 1 direction, and to the airport in the other. If you want a cheap few days in Nice, then I wholly recommend this place. Don't expect an amazing hotel, because it is not, but it is in an amzing location and very cheap.

You can visit St.Tropez, Cannes and Monaco from Nice very easily on day trips. If you wish you can do what we did, which was to take a 7 hour train journey to Milan in Italy for 2 days.

The beach in Nice is amazing, and the views are out of this world. Nice town is a fair walk along the promenade but if you want a few days break on a budget, with haste being low on your desires, then i recommend this place.

It does have a pool, but it is very overloaded with French nationals, but hey, who needs a pool in a town centre when the beach is so close. Local eating facilities and bars are also strewn across the local roads so this is not a problem (even take away burger and kebab joints are within 2 minutes walking distance).
