Circus Grill
Circus Grill Reviews
Mar 20, 2007
Want open-air, second floor, Caribbean dining at its [almost] finest? Look no further than Basseterre's own Circus Grill. Located right off the dock, this cozy little restaurant offers fine dining inside and comfortable, laid back dining outside. The menus items are typical for what you'd see everywhere else...pastas, burgers, wraps, etc. However, the drink menu sets this eatery apart. Exotic fresh fruit punches, alcoholic fruit mixes, and the widest selection of Caribbean beer you can find.
I ordered a cheeseburger with homemade fries and large fruit punch (she actually just brought the pitcher and let me finish it) and paid $11 US for everything. The atmosphere was worth it too. Tucked right against a busy street corner, you could look down at the nightlife or out into the sea (if you were in the right seat). The only drawback was the service....once again on their own schedule. Nonetheless, a great place to eat in Basseterre....one of the few nice places for tourists, actually.
