Cipanas Indah

One of many motels/hostels around Cipanas – Garut. This area is wellknown as a local getaway for a weekend relax and warm bath. The hot water comes from the natural springs from the volcanoes.

Nothing is so special from any of the hotels around – but in almost all of the hotels, the highlight is on the abundant supply of hot water in the shower room. Even some rooms don’t have any stopper so fresh water was just poured out and wasted. Guess they will have to manage this better.

The rooms are very basic – one big bed (good that I wasn’t really bugged by bedbugs this time), a small television with very bad reception, one or 2 power sockets – just enough to charge everything.

Together with the room package the hotel served very basic fried rice for breakfast – which served in a way that probably prisoners experienced that on daily basis. The fare for one room – double occupancy I reckon was around ~ 170k Rp (20 USD).

Nothing special – and certainly not a honeymooner place to go!
