Ciocolat Extraordinary Desserts - Davis - TravBuddy

One of my favorite places to go when I was a student at Davis. The truffles, cakes and even the pastries were very well done and they have some very good variety which changes day to day. They also now serve salads and sandwiches during the day. The croissants and the white chocolate current scone are always a nice treat and when whenever I make that 60 minute drive I usually hit Ciocolat up before I head home. The cakes are beautiful and very tasty, a little expensive but good nonetheless. It is a fun little side trip especially if you want to warm up after going to the farmer's market on a cold morning. Service is a little on the slow side, that could be the only complaint I have that keeps it from being perfect.
