If you have a Princess in your home... Mar 19, 2008
If you have a Princess, or two, or three! Then a character lunch or dinner is the way to go! Let's face it if you go to an amusement park then you know waiting in line is a must but, I can stand it if theres at least a five second joy ride waiting at the end! Line waiting for characters was the absolute worst! Character lunches are good since it beats standing in line out in the heat for you to get to the front of the line and then have the characters walk away right before you get your picture!
We reserved a lunch at Cinderella's Castle, the occassion of course was to celebrate my youngest birthday who turned 3 the week before we were in Orlando. They have a limited menu but your sitting in air conditioning! The characters are walking around & they come to you! So have your cameras and autograph books ready! Yes, it is expensive but, then again what isn't at Disney? Included in our package was an entree, dessert, and of course a birthday cake! Plus the luxury of having all the princesses come to us vs chasing them all over the park (that was the best part!) Something to consider though is the fact that we made the reservations 6 months in advance! Part of the Disney Theme Parks travel blog

Our rooms were upgraded and had the best view of the lagoon and Cinderella Castle, which was especially beautiful at this time of year because it was completely covered in Christmas lights! After arriving, we hopped the monorail to the Magic Kingdom to explore the park. HOLY COW was that place crowded!!! Most rides were on about a 60-90 minute… Welcome to not-so-warm-n-sunny Florida... |

While walking down the street you'll see gift shops, resturants, and Cinderella's castle at the end of the street. Wait till the end of your day to visit Main Street. Donot forget to get your park map and execute your plan on what you want to see. The first thing you need to do is get to the most… Disney MGM Studios |

…napkins at the restaurants :) The lines weren't so long, since we arrived early and when we were inside the 1st thing you see is Cinderella's Castle down the Main Street. OMG! My childhood dreams!!!! We started walking down the Main street, while we were looking at the map. The park has different areas or "lands" and we decided to go first to "Adventureland". It was like if you were… 100 years of Magic - Magic Kingdom!!! |

There is Cinderella's Castle, looking just like
it did in 1982. Beautiful! I made a quick detour into City Hall to get some free "1st Visit" buttons, which I made the kids put on and
wear the rest of the day. LOL! Did I mention… The Magic Kingdom and EPCOT |

On Friday, we went to MGM studios rode the tower of terror, and after the park had our pirate adventure dinner.
Saturday, we spent it at Universal Studios, drank lots of beer, my girls climbed a wall, and my little… being tourists |
