Churrascaria is portuguese for steak house. The difference between most brazilian steak houses to other countries' is the "round system". Instead of asking for a specific cut of meat, the waiters keep bringing different cuts and selections, from filet mignon to sausages, fish, chicken and pretty much any kind of meat. And all that is included in the price, which makes it an even better deal.

That said, Carretão is a fine example of this kind of steak house in Copacaba. It's not high class like Porcão or Mariu's, but you pay a more than fair price for an excellent selection of meats, carefully prepared and served. It also includes a salad buffet and the regular side dishes (rice, fries, manioc, polenta, bananas, onion rings and plenty more!)

Drinks are kind of expensive, but that's how they make their living. Prices vary on weekends, but it's still cheap compared to regular steak houses. They also have 3 floors, so big groups are allowed. And being in Copacabana, they are used to having foreign tourists.
