Church of the Visitation
Church of the Visitation Reviews
One of the oldest churches in town Jul 22, 2008
This is one of Warsaws oldest buildings, in Gothic architecture, that stands beside the main road. It is also known as the St. Mary's Church.
As the nuns still live and pray here this church and monastry mostly can't be visited, though it has a remarkable architecture that is indeed quite uncommon in Warsaw. The visitation church is hard to miss when strolling down the Krakowskie Przedmiescie street, and is definitely worth a stop. Part of the Poland 2008 travel blog |
