Church of Mary Immaculate Conception Goa Reviews
Church of Mary Immaculate Conception, Goa Panjim Feb 20, 2010
The church is said to have been in existence since 1541. This majestic church is a prominent landmark of the city. The great bell at the Church of Mary Immaculate Conception is acclaimed as the second largest bell in the world. Known as the Bell of the Inquisition, this bell was previously a part of the Church of Our Lady of Grace in Old Goa. It was shifted to the Mary Immaculate Church in 1841, after Panaji became the capital of Goa.
This church is located in the middle of Panaji City. Reaching the church is very easy. Panaji main bustand is the closest to this location. From here you can walk it up, Auto rickshaw, Taxi or rent a 2 or 4 wheeler.
