Christon Cafe
Christon Cafe Reviews

Christon Cafe is an interesting restaurant. It is located in Shibuya, not a far walk from the JR Station. It is decorated like a Catholic church with images of Mary and Jesus. There is an altar and Stations of the Cross along the wall. Also, there is a display of chalices in one corner.
The restaurant serves Italian food. It is ok-priced. About $8+ for meals. The drinks are $5+ and pretty good. I ordered a Joan De 'Arc and it has vodka, ginger ale, and raspberry. I ordered carbonara and the waitress gave me a choice of either spaghetti noodle or penne. The serving size was rather small, but I guess I'm just use to American servings! We sat on leather couches with a table in between. It was so comfortable after our all-day walk around the city. All in all, food was good. Stop by here if you want something other than Japanese food! Part of the Golden Week in Japan 2007 travel blog |

He came back and said "No idea where Alcatraz ER, but Christon Cafe is a few feet away!!" So tired and starving, we ended up at Christon Cafe, another restaurant recommended by Frommer's. It is designed as a Catholic church with an altar, Stations of the Cross, a cabinet full of chalices, Mary… Day 7 - Last Full Day! |
