A small Christmas Market Dec 15, 2012
There was a small Christmas market at Place de la Constitution, right across the street from the cathedral. It was small, but had all the things Christmas markets offer, Christmas ornaments, gifts, sweets, food and drinks.

I particularly fancied a stand, which sold "küsse". In Norwegian we call them "kokosbolle". I don't know if there is an English word for it, it is chocolate covered foam (wiped egg white and sugar). This stand had a variety of different flavors. The flavor is in the chocolate and not in the filling. I tried the marzipan one, and it was to die for. Luckily, we don't have them at home! I would easily have become an addict.

This little Christmas market is most attractive if you have children, since there are a Ferris Wheel and a carousel there. It's nice to pass through it, but I would head to the main Christmas market for a nicer atmosphere.
