Christmas Market Dordrecht

The Christmas Market of Dordrecht is with more than 300 stalls and 300.000 visitors, the biggest of the Netherlands.
Dordrecht, the oldest historical city of the Netherlands, is a whole weekend transformed to a huge open-air market, with plenty of entertainment.
There are a lot of covered food stalls, with delicious things to eat and to drink, like warm pea soup, oildumplings, poffertjes, waffles, hamburgers, sandwiches, fish and chips.
This Christmas market has many attractions for children and an old fashion fun fair with a lot of Christmas music and live music.
You can buy Christmas typical things, but also other things.
I visited the market this weekend and it was so funny to see what kind of stuff people buy for Christmas, it`s really unbelievably.
It was very cold, so I decided to drink something warm inside a restaurant, but that wasn`t funny and easy to find, every restaurant was filled with a lot of people.
Finally I found a place to drink warm chocolate to let my frozen toes thaw.
If you like markets, a lot of people and Christmas stuff you can go to this market next year, because it`s yearly.
