Choices Restaurant Reviews

Nov 06, 2007
Choices Restaurant on West End Road in Negril is somewhat surprising in what they offer. By all appearances, it seems to be an ordinary dining establishment with it's simple atmosphere and plastic tables and chairs. The menu however, offers a fine selection of authentic Jamaican food with plenty of seafood options as well, staying true to their name. Everything on the menu looked delectable but my friend and I both chose a different lobster dish. She went for the curried lobster and I chose the garlic lobster. It was reasonably priced at $1200 JA (less than $20 US). Most prices on the dinner menu ranged from $600 - $1600 JA with most in the mid-range. We were served several small courses prior to the entree that included a savory soup and a crisp salad, each coming in short order so we never waited long for anything. Both the curried lobster and garlic lobster dishes in generous portions were delicious and if we'd spent more time in that area, we'd have definitely gone back to try more of the menu offerings. If you're looking for great food at reasonable prices, Choices is an excellent choice!
