Heavenly Chocolat Royale Jun 04, 2009
The words itself are enough to evoked grand thoughts…something like chocolate being really grand and all, and oozing with its sticky, bitterish, sweetness.

Once you enter the place, you know that you are entering a place that highly prized ambiance and comfort of customers. The stairs are made of glass ( maybe fibre glass, hahah) then you will encounter a very airy ‘lounge like feel’ with underwater sea theme...you will see huge starfishes, corals, and nemo! (clown fish i mean!,haha)

They also have an open space veranda for those who want to enjoy the ambiance au naturel and for those who would want to smoke a cigarette.

Chocolat Royale is famous in the expatriate circle because of its menu offering. It offers sandwiches, burgers, pasta, pizza, chicken, steaks plus good choices of drinks and smoothies.

I ordered the spaghetti Bolognese while another friend tried the burger…the verdict??? Burgers anytime, forget the Spaghetti Bolognese, hahaahah!

Servings are big. If you order the burger, it comes with chips/fries and coleslaw. The Spaghetti is good for sharing but the noodles were too soft, to the point of being soggy that is why I didn’t enjoy it.

As for drinks, aside from the conventional mineral water and soda’s they have iced tea, smoothies, flavoured coffee drink, fruit juices, cocktails as well as beers and other alcoholic drinks. They also have a good selection of hot drinks like coffee, tea and chocolate.

They also have a patisserie serving cakes, donuts, muffins and other delectable baked treats.

Prices are kinda steeped than the conventional food joint. That one order of a burger is about 15US$, However, it is worth it as most of the food they served is really good.
my fave cheese burger with bacon
Smoothies!...forgive the skewed
