Chisun Hotel Shin Osaka

This hotel is well located, about 10 minutes walk from Shin-Osaka station. So you are near the station to take the Shinkansen to any day-trip destinations like Kyoto, Hiroshima and Myajima. Though, you cannot walk to Osaka main area like Umeda or Nanba, you'd have to use the train or subway. Be advised that the single room is indeed small but for me, it was alright as I didn't intent to spend my holidays in the room. Bathroon is small as well, tiny bath but surprisingly good shower pressure so it did fine. The hotel restaurant is good value for breakfast but there is a 7 eleven at the corner of the street should you want to eat cheap. There are also plenty of good price restaurant down towards the subway station or simply at the train station. There is a subway staion nearby. Personel is very helpful, like most places in Japan. Room was clean and there is internet access on the main floor ( 100 yens per 10 minutes). So, Chisun Hotel is great value for what you get. I paid about 45 USD a night, that is cheap for a hotel in Japan. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to book a room at Chisun. Just be open-minded that you WILL NOT GET A HOTEL ROOM THAT FITS WESTERN STANDARD. If you absolutely want that, go book a 250 $ hotel. :)
