Latin american and Chinese cuisine under one roof Aug 09, 2008
Chino Latino's is located in the hip and trendy Uptown area of Minneapolis and is known for their family style cuisine of chinese and latin american food selection! The portions are large and there is way too much to choose from as everything looked delicious!!!
Alyssa and I split the MRS. WONG's SPICY WOK TOSSED EDAMAME (which was made with Jalepeno's so it is spicy!), the POPOCATEPE (fries with black beans, queso fresco, guacamole, sour cream, chile de arbol and pico de gallo) and ENCHILADAS DE POLLO. The drink menu is also elaborate and they are best known for their Sake Bombs where you get a bandana to put around your head and do a sake bomb the "right way" by putting the shot of sake on 2 chop sticks over the glass of beer and bang the table til the shot falls in and chug the drink! It's very fun to watch the tables do this around the room as people get into it! Some tips: dress nicely... don't look like a bum... and take advantage of the valet parking for $8... it will save you time and energy from driving around the block alot!!! Soon we were all at Chino Latino's - a restaurant in Minneapolis where you are supposed to order different foods and share. Julie and I shared some delicious smothered fries and some disgusting enchiladas. My Irregular Cowgirl, or something like that was delicious - made with yummy mango… A river walk, big cherry, bean bags and Sake bombs |

It really was a great time playing by the lake and having great conversation with my TB family but as with all meetups the time flies when you're having fun and we needed to go get cleaned up and ready for dinner at Chino Latino's and our induction into the Sake Bomber's Brotherhood!! Stay tuned for more blogging...I'm tired and the meds are wearing off! … Indecent exposure, Defacing public property, Bean bag Hustlers,Shirtless men and men in Kilts... |
