Chinggis Khaan Hotel

Pros:
1. Consistent Heat. (Very Important)
2. Large rooms
3. Free internet
4. Attached to a Department Store with a private hotel entrance.

Cons:
1. Limited room service menu
2. Hotel restaurants are pretty expensive
3. Walls are kinda dirty
4. Limited tour selection

According to our tour operator, this is a 4 star hotel. However I would rate them as a 5 star hotel. It was so nice to be back to the modern world hotel after staying in ger camp for 3 days. We were so happy to see bathroom and toilet inside our room, TV, comfortable bed and no funny beaded pillow. Clean room and toilet without feeling sandy made me so appreciative of this hotel.

They have a huge lobby and a souvenir shop. The buffet breakfast was good too. The reception staffs speak good English that makes it so easy for us to communicate especially when we needed to change money. We were surprise there were no currency exchange at the airport. We had to have our money changed at the hotel which provide reasonable rate.

The location of this hotel is great! One of the big shopping mall (Sky Department Store) is right behind the hotel. It was a five minutes walk to get everything you want. They even sell draft beer at a little “stand” inside the grocery section.

Korean Air office is inside the hotel, which makes it convenient for their guests. Other facilities provided such as ATM machine, gym, swimming pool, conference room, business center, internet café, span and sauna…With the money you pay, definitely worth it!
