Visa for China Sep 28, 2008
Dear travlers,
We will be going in 1 month to China. For China you have to have a visa of course. I don't know the how an what in each country. But i would like to share my experiance with the dutch people for sure. At the Chinese embassy in Holland they demand a travel plan AND all reservations in hotels. As you can Imagen I refuse to do so. Because if I would like to stay longer in city X, i want to stay longer and not to be bound to go to city Y because I made and paid a hostel/hotel there. (They can refuse hostels because they're not fond on backpackers.) Last week I wend to the Chinese embassy. I was there at 8:15. ( it opens at 09:00) Please be early, if you don't, give up hope because if your late. You have the Chinese to be send home without being helped. Anyway, i went there, was nr. 16. Gave all the forms. (without any hotel stuff, nor any address) No problem! big_smile So make sure your early!! And maybe luck, I'm not sure. I have my stuff anyway smile !!!! China here i come!! |
