Chinchero Travel and Tourism Guide

Chinchero is a small Andean Indian village located high up on the plains of Anta at 3762m. There are beautiful views overlooking the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with the Cordillera Vilcabamba and the snow-capped peak of Salkantay dominating the western horizon. Trip from Lima down to San Pedro de Atacama and from there up across the Salar de Uyuni to Potosi, Cusco, Machu Picchu and back to Lima.

A five and half week trip that starts with a week in Santiago Chile, heads briefly to La Paz and across Lake Titicaca to Puno and Cuzco, Peru where I will spend over two weeks. My last week will be around the beginning of August and will cover Lima and some of the southern coastal towns of Peru.
