This was our first meal in China Town and an unexpected one at that. It was cold, we were hungry, and very lost. We happened to notice a small asian woman standing across the street from us and decided to walk over and ask for directions. She didnt say a word. Just smiled and motioned for us to follow. So, we did. Before long we found ourselves standing in front of a large door way. She motioned for us to follow once again. When we reached the top of the stairs, we were greeted and asked where we would like to sit. Not what we had in mind, but we were hungry after all so we let her lead the way.
After looking over the menu, we werent sure where to start. We are accustomed to Chinese Buffet prepared by mexicans in the back. Not legit asian cuisine. Since we had enough bags to carry, we chose to go with a couple rounds of appetizers. The service was really good and we were pleased with everything we tried.
The owner brought us green tea ice cream once we had finished eating and fortune cookies. I was expecting a mint ice cream or a pistachio ice cream. I wasnt sure how to react to green tea ice cream. But, it grew on me. I have yet to find it any where else.

Sometimes you struck gold, for me that usually means food which satifies my every wish + more.
Chinatown Restaurant does not look much from the outside so i did not expect much at all.
Inside you go up 1 stair and find a neat looking restaurant not overly pompus but nice and tidy and ok...the surprise came with the food. Not many ppl dined when i was there
so the service was fast and efficient also.
I ordered Creamy Prawns With Honey Walnut and a few Tsing Tao beers.
It was a great treat indeed and i went from there with a big smile on my face totally satisfied of what i had digested. 14.95$ for the creamy prawns and 3.95$ for each Tsing Tao beer
