Beauty on the water Oct 02, 2008
This chinese restuarant has changed hands about half a dozen times since I was born, and if you live in Halifax you know about this place. It's not that the food there is spectacular or that it costs a fortune to eat there, it's where its located. To get there you go underneath the train tracks and your breath is taken away by the beautiful scenery of the Bedford Basin looking out upon Halifax. Pretty much no matter where you sit in the restaurant, unless its in the very back, you get to eat and enjoy the view. The food isn't all that spectacular, but it's mildly priced and worth it for the view. They do have a wide range of Asian influenced food, everything from Mongolian Chicken to Buddiest Delight. Overall, if you come to Halifax, you should experience China Town atleast once.
