Very good Chinese food! Oct 16, 2008

This is not a fancy-shmacy type of restaurant, but a small family owned and run with nice black tables and red leather upholstered chairs and booths. The same waitresses have waited on us each time we have gone in over the last three of four years. The food is excellent and they have a blackboard with specials that are exceptional both for lunch and dinner. Many people take advantage of their take-out orders. But one of the things we like here is that they have a nice little list of wine available with dinner and those nice wines are very cheap. Why just drink tea when you can have a nice wine? We eat here at least once a month and recommend it as often as we can.

Casual dining Chinese style, but with a slight up-scale twist. You can order a bottle of wine from a small list or a few brands of beer. The atmosphere is plain, basically red leather booths with plain black chairs at the tables. The walls contain a few simple murals in this fairly small restaurant. The service here is excellent. It seems like the same four waitresses each and every time we go in, for more than three years. The food is excellent and the menu seems to cover quite an array of items. Prices are slightly lower on the food items and a nice bottle of wine is only $12. This is definitely one of the places we go more than others.
