Average but if you have a few minutes to spare... May 11, 2011
Constructed in the fourteenth century, this church was heavily restored in the seventeenth century. It is situated just outside central Arezzo and very near the outdoor markets. The church’s main altar is well decorated and the green background is something I have rarely seen. The chapels themselves are pretty decent considering this is a small town church. Overall though, there are no famous artists or frescoes that are connected to the church, and it’s a fairly normal church. Although this was a nice enough church to visit, it’s still worth considering if you are a serious church fan or if you have five or ten minutes to spare (like I did) and just happen to have wandered around here.
