Chico's Travel Reviews

May 19, 2007
Chico's is the kinda place you could walk straight past and never even realise you missed it. Its sits above the cafe OldMan Rock and has a side entrance up a flight of stairs. However, anyone who has actually been inside would never walk pass it again!! Chicos has the intimacy & character that The world Bar & Altitude dont..I felt very welcome instantly and the best part was knowing that you were experiencing nightlife that the Kiwis themselves appreciated. The bar staff are frankly....awesome! and the music (though not to my taste)seemed to get the folks dancing night after night. The other clubs were fab...good music and company etc. But if your there to 'feel the vibe' of your surroundings...its gotta be Chicos! (Lil' Tip: look out for the bouncers...no your not pissed, there identical twins!)

Pog Mahone's is right in the midst of Queenstown, with a great view of the lake. T...

The Remarkables are the range of mountains featured in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and are beautiful jagged snowcapped granite peaks. The scenery here is unreal. ...

Paul told us he eats here quite regularly, and I can see why, or should I say I could taste why. The food is delicious! We deci...
