Chico's
Chico's Reviews

Chico's is the kinda place you could walk straight past and never even realise you missed it. Its sits above the cafe OldMan Rock and has a side entrance up a flight of stairs. However, anyone who has actually been inside would never walk pass it again!! Chicos has the intimacy & character that The world Bar & Altitude dont..I felt very welcome instantly and the best part was knowing that you were experiencing nightlife that the Kiwis themselves appreciated. The bar staff are frankly....awesome! and the music (though not to my taste)seemed to get the folks dancing night after night. The other clubs were fab...good music and company etc. But if your there to 'feel the vibe' of your surroundings...its gotta be Chicos! (Lil' Tip: look out for the bouncers...no your not pissed, there identical twins!)

dont do that
Our first main day spent in QT, we simply took in the sights; Kat, my host showed us around the town, and Chico's - a well known resturant in town where she works, and the evening was of course destined for celebrations! To be honest, I cant even remember the evening too well.....It must have been a good one!
… Day 5 - We made it!!! Miss Denney...its good to see you |
