Chico's Mexican Restaurant
Chico's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
Excellent family run restaurant Jun 21, 2008
We were walking around trying to find a good place to eat and were intrigued when we saw the sign. It said "Chico's Mexican Restaurant" with "The Best Pizza in Town" written below. We had to eat here and I must say, this was one of the highlights of our trip.
This tiny restaurant run by a Mexican woman and her son (who is probably like...12 years old). The food there was fantastic! Refreshing and fresh with fast service and a great atmosphere. The location is good too as it's quite near the visitor's center, near where the cruises dock. We ordered a guacamole salad and Patricia's (I'm guessing the owner?) Mexican special. I'm not quire sure what was on it but it was delicious!! The mom and son both waited on our table and were entertained with our attempts to speak Spanish. If you're in Ketchikan, this is a must! Lunch at Chico's Mexican Restaurant. I don't recall dinner but today. Wow. Lunch was random but delicious: penne and corned beef. If corned beef were it's own food group, I would be happy because I could have it every single day. Most importantly, dinner… My stomach rules my world |
