1 day in Chichen Itza, Mexico!

A short two week vacation to the Yucatan with some beaches, some ruins and hopefully lots of awesome food (and of course Mexican beers...)

Took all possible tours around Yucatan. Best are adventure tour with rappeling and zip line and swimmin with whale sharks.

Visited Cancún and the Mayan Pyramids at Chichén Itzá with friends during Halloween, or in México, La Dia de los Muertos.

After returning from Hawaii, I had only one day in Chicago to rest up before flying out to Cancun for a 10-day stay. Unfortunately I lost my camera and lost all my beach pictures, my sunrises, etc. The few pictures were taken with disposable cameras.

I definitively have to write about this trip. What a tour! I went with my brother, he wanted to see El Salvador & Honduras & I Guatemala & Mexico/Yucatan & both Belize! I never had that many warnings for a trip ever! Don't do this don't do that!

Spent a week travelling by car around Yucatan. Spent time at Valladolid,Uxmal, Izamal and Chichen Itza. Afterwards had a relaxing time spent on the beach at Hotel Excellence.

IN PROGRESS........... As my dad died this September, my mom and I didn't want to spend Christmas at home so we decided to go to the Yucatán Peninsula for 2 weeks and there meet up with my Aunt from Missouri.
