My trip round the USA last year; my first holiday on my own...!

So when I started this I had been flying two years. Wish I had known about this sooner and the map would have been packed, but alas.....So I started it when I flew to my parents house.

The 28th Annual Superman Festival, Hiking in the Garden of the Gods in the Shawnee National Forest, Chicago's Sears tower and Soldier Field and a Southern Illinois University Salukis Basketball game.

This is my Bog Blog! Call them whatever you like: dunnies, pissers, gravy bowls, pissoirs, porcelain caves, potties, loos, crappers, dumpers, shitters, outhouses, throne, bogs, longdrops, WC's. As much as we dont want to think about it, even good looking girls have to crap every day! The vast array of toilets in the world have fascinated me for a long time. went to bouillon belgium for the day had a great time the people of belgium are great,this town and castle are named after my surname which is beulen that i believe is the german or dutch spelling, the reason for this trip was for family history as well as the hope of meeting up with a few trav buddys.

Took a train to Chicago to eat and explore downtown.  Went to the top floor of the Sears tower to see the city and ate a Chicago style deep dish pizza.
