My boat got into the Chiang Saen port around 6 and then I went through the most relaxed customs screening ever. I guess they figure that the china screening is probably tough enough.
It's a pretty small town and I don't have a map, but fortunately, plenty of people seem to have basic english…

In the 4 weeks I spent in Thailand, I've visit Bangkok, Pattaya, the bridge on the river Kwai, Kanchanaburi, a small part of Isaan, and the North-West part of the country (Golden Triangle). I also visit Myanmar (Burma) with a 1 day visa.
