Bought a round-trip ticket to Singapore, and winged it from there. Ended up traveling by rail to Northern Thailand, with a stop in Brunei on the way back.

3 weeks of exploring the north of my favorite country, along with a 5 day detour to Hanoi and a few day trips to Myanmar and Laos.

I went to Thailand for several weeks with a study abroad program. I did see Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Nan...but most of the time was spent in a village called Pong Kham, which I can't even find on the map. Stayed with families in the village and classes were co-taught in the village temple by a monk and our prof.

Hi. On 4/2/09 two girls from little Denmark is on their way east to Vietnam, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. We are back in Denmark 10/6/09 so we have four months to explore.
