Chez Clément - Elysées Paris Reviews
Great view of the boulevard and Arc Jun 15, 2010
While walking towards the Arc de Triomphe it seems that the Chez Clement is one of only two restaurants serving French cuisine on the Champs Elysees. Nothing against pizza and pasta but I was saving that for Italy and the Chez Clement was a nice introduction to French food.
This is, no doubt, a tourist oriented restaurant but everyone in our party was well pleased with the food. They have a big selection of fresh seafood dishes.
The most popular seating areas are in the front with a few tables offering a view of the Arc and the pedestrians on the Champs Elysees.
The waiters were all very pleasant but maybe a little inefficient.
If you are hungry for French food and don't mind paying for the privilege of eating on the Champs Elysees or dining in a restaurant that relies on the tourist trade then I can recommend this restaurant. The bill is expensive but not extreme. Meal for three adults and two children was probably close to 100 Euros but we didn't skimp on the wine and ordered appetizers such as oysters.
