Cheyenne is the capital of Wyoming and is located at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 25 in the South Eastern corner of the state. The city was named after the Native American Tribe, Cheyenne, and was established in the 1860's during the construction of the Union Pacific Railroad. Today, the Depot has been remodeled and includes a very nice museum.
The city has a colorful western history that attracts many visitors every year. The Cheyenne Frontier Days is the largest US rodeo and is held every July. The historic downtown boasts several shops and restaurants as well as places of historical interest to visit.
