A busy day for Cheung Chau people. May 11, 2011
Once a year, Cheung Chau people organize a series of events to help giving safety and wealthy to people in Cheung Chau. The most importation one is to pray the statue/symbol and lots of bun in the temple. Another 2 events which attract visitors from all over the world are Parade and Bun Scramble Competition.

This year the Parade started at 2:00pm 10/May. I arrived Cheung Chau before 1:30pm but I failed to enter the main route of Parade as all the access are blocked.

The Bun Scramble Competition held at 11:30pm so I had lot of time to swim and relax in Cheung Chau.

This is my first time to see this competition live and in fact I went there because my niece's husband was one of 12th persons in final. Finally he won and I am lucky to share the happiness.

This morning those bun in temple were distributed to people in Cheung Chau for safety and luck. That was not an be continue next year.
