Cabot shores is an amazing place, it is a kind of outdoor persuits retreat situated in spill of woodland caught between the river (Indian Brook) and the sea. Another one those French-speaking places, Cheticamp is on the western side of Cape Breton.  It is 45 miles from here to Prince Edward Island across the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Heading out of town, we really needed a place to set up camp.  We came upon a beautiful grassy hill with a great view of the water and accompanying sunset.  The lady who owns the land was working in her garden.  We stopped and asked if we could camp out here.  She gave us the OK.
