As to not neglect the dachshunds, we took Charley, Shadow, Riley, and Kaley to the beach with us. What a beautiful beach! I highly recommend Chesapeake Beach. There wasn't much sand (only a narrow strip) but the rocks, surrounding trees, and cliffs made the beach area look beautiful.
Of course Charley misbehaved. He barked at anything and everything, forgetting that he was just one fourth the size of most things he was barking at. In the end, Charley and R...

I have visited Bay Front Park a few times before. This morning I decided to walk to the right for as long as I could or alternatively as long as I felt like. In the end it was as long as I felt like due to my footwear. I reached a point in the beach where my flip flops weren't giving me the support I wanted to be able to climb over rocks (my feet were actually sliding in them because they had gotten wet with my wading).
