Chepstow Overview

Chepstow is a town on the border of Wales and England. It is situated in the Welsh county of Monmouthshire and sits on the river Wye.

There are two main things that attract people to Chepstow; the castle and the racecourse.

Firstly it contains the oldest surviving stone castle in the United Kingdom which is a great tourist attraction. Visitors can walk along the battlements.

The second attraction is the Chepstow racecourse which holds the Welsh Grand National each year.
