I am currently attempting to scan all of my old photos into my computer. They took up too much space in my suitcases when I moved from Naxcivan to Baku. As I might be making another international move in the next year, I really need the extra space. Most of my photos were from my travels. I will post those that I am not too ashamed of.

Chengdu-Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Zhongdian I never have seen anything like this, I absoluty loved it in China and I recommend everybody to go there!!

We got up the next morning at 6:00 AM to get ready for the Chengdu Panda Reserve. We were told to get there early around 8:00 AM because that is when they feed the pandas. After that they sleep all day.  We rented a taxi for 50 yuan an hour ($6.00) and got to the Reserve at the right time…

Chengdu / Mt. Emei / Leshan / Guilin / Yangshuo

I am leaving in September 2006 for New Zealand. I am stopping off in China to do a 3 week overland tour from Beijing to Hong Kong before heading off to New Zealand for 12 months on a working holiday visa.

These are some photos and a few journal entries I wanted to share from my first solo backpacking trip. It lasted 9 months. In retrospect, I wish I had been on this site to write a blog in real time and learn from all the people here. Also, I just love seeing that map Travbuddy draws up outlining my route!
