Different Shopping at the former Oreos and Mallomars factory. Aug 20, 2008
A good place to go if it is raining. A lot of small shops with a lot of
different things to look at or to buy.

NIce place for Breakfast Apr 10, 2008
We went via Chelsea Market on the way to a Helicopter tour. It's a great little place to see little Deli's, bakery's and other food shops. There is also a waterfall (manmade of course) and other quirky bits and bobs making it an interesting place to wander.

We stopped off at Amy's Bread for breakfast for some really good cakes and pastries

Chelsea Market is cool, it has a walkway through an old factory… Helicopter and Top of the Rock

After that was a trip to Rockefeller Center to visit the Top of the Rock. I would recommend this place over the Empire State Building (waiting here will be around… The third coming. . .

Woke up early today and walked down the block to grab a quick bite to eat. The weater was a bit warmer than I had expected at 47 degrees and sunny. This was still pretty cold to me since it was 70 degrees when I left L.A. I decided to walk over to M…Chelsea Wine market, which is a very cool adaptive re-use of the old Nabisco manufacturing building. There are food stalls, specialty shops and bakeries, and there was a even a sample sale going on! I didn't see anything too cheap though - when… Exploring the Big Apple
