Chelsea Center East

There are so many hostels in NYC. You probably look for somewhere around Central Park... If you are looking for somewhere different from others, and tired of other hostels, I recommend this hostel.

It's in Lower East Side. It's right next to Williansburg bridge. 5 seconds from Delancey st and Essex st (subway). Around this area, you can find a cool clubs, bars, and casual restaurants and shops.

Staff in this hostel is very friendly and helpful. When I was there, I met 4 or 5 of them and some are from Germany or somewhere outside of US. It's 24h. You don't need any key to enter, you just beep at the door and they'll open the door for you even it's 3 in the morning.
They have 3 different types of rooms. Two of them are small rooms with maybe 6 blank beds. One room is huge and beds are 12 or something.. Very big and the bed is really tiny. They searve breakfast anytime. You can have it at noon too. They have one computer but it's really slow and $1 for 15 minutes. There's a grocery store about 2 blocks away and they have FREE internet (3 computers) so you should use there instead. (i did that!)
This hostel doesn't have a laundry machine so it's either you wash by yourself or there's a laundry place near the hostel. Not sure how much but not so bad, i think. Chinese people will do your laundry for you.
They don't really have a common room. Only a big table with several chairs.
I paid $35 per day. It's not so bad in NYC.
