I'm a masters student at the University of Melbourne, studying editing and communications. I hope to be an editor at Lonely Planet some day.

I was diagnosed with ME/CFS last year, so no travelling for me for a while. According to my doctor I have a fairly severe version of it; I'm basically house-bound, which is awful for me...

Melbourne Over Coffee
Mar 02, 2007 - Oct 12, 2007
Melbourne Over Coffee is a 'sticky' blog of mine - one that I will add to intermittently - that will delve into the world of inner Melbourne. Find out what a Melburnian gets up to, which festivals are worth seeing, why exactly Australian football (or 'footy' as it is known here) has a knack for making us go crazy, and most importantly, where to find (good) food. Welcome to a year packed with festivities, sports, and fashion. Welcome to the sporting capital of Australia: Melbourne.

And so it continues...

What do you do with yourself once you've gotten home after a trip of a life time? Pack up your bags and head to a farm. This has turned into an on-going blog describing my stints to Brimin Lodge, a farm in the Australian countryside. Learn about what it's like to help out on a farm in North East Victoria; everything, from the mundane to the challenging. Welcome to country Victoria.

Road trip: Sydney and New South Wales
Feb 11, 2007 - Feb 18, 2007
Melbourne and Sydney once competed for the title of Australia's capital. What exactly does a Melburnian think of rival city Sydney? From giant sheep to the Sydney Opera house, from the dry plains of capital country to the lush coastal hills, from deep harbours to the infamous Blue Mountains; New South Wales has it all.
