This is NOT the best of what Seattle has to offer! Sep 08, 2013
Guys, really?

I know some people love this place, but they also love McDonalds and Red Robin. If you want good food, skip this chain restaurant. Note: dessert with coffee here is really good, but skip the meal!

The menus are about 20 page, with advertisements. They specilize in everything and at the same time nothing. The portions are huge, the food is bland.

If you're a tourist please try one of our many fine restaurants from real chefs. Yelp is much more reliable in ratings than here I'm afraid.

Again, for recommendations just message me, a Seattlite foodie.

No matter where you live, you may have a chance to visit a Cheesecake Factory. I have eaten at the one in Seattle and really enjoyed it. They have restaurants in 34 states including Texas and New York.

The Cheesecake Factory serves much more than just cheesecake! That is their tag line and it is really true. I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a place that I enjoyed because I thought it was only cheesecake. But no. When you walk through the front doors, you know you're in for something special! With French limestone floors and decorative columns, hand-painted fabrics, contemporary lighting and an abundance of cherry wood, Part of The Cheesecake Factory experience is enjoying their distinctive décor. This is where they have added color and fun, from the Egyptian columns and hand-blown lighting fixtures, to the dark cherry wood and brass accents. A common décor theme found throughout the Cheesecake Factory restaurants is their murals, created by Mary D’Astugues, a former manager who launched the trend at their Redondo Beach location in 1988. These distinct murals add panache and a unique touch to each Cheesecake Factory location. You will see that the lavish decor is just the beginning…

The Cheesecake Factory is a unique, upscale casual dining restaurant offering more than 200 menu selections including Appetizers, Pizza, Pasta, Seafood, Steaks, Salads, Sandwiches, and more. Their menu also features specialty dishes like Chicken Madeira, Miso Salmon, Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, and The Factory Burger. They also offer curbside to go service if you just want the food to go. I suggest that you stay.

The crab cakes are so good. They are a bit pricey, but well worth the $9.00. I would suggest that to everyone who goes in and eat. The menu is quite extensive so take your time, take others with you and everyone order something different and then share. It is a fun way to have a fun evening.

If you do go there and eat dinner, save room for dessert! You can try one of their 50 delicious cheesecakes and desserts such as the White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake or the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake with a cappuccino or espresso.

You can enjoy the high-energy atmosphere seven days a week. They are located on Pike Street, directly across the street from the Washington State Convention Center. They have Self-parking which is available in the Pike Street garage, adjacent to The Cheesecake Factory. You can enter on either 7th or 8th Streets. The cost varies depending on day of week, time of day, and length of stay.

The Cheesecake Factory is a chain restaurant popping up all across America, so its no surprise one landed in downtown. There are two great things about Cheesecake Factory: 1) variety and 2) cheesecake.

1) Variety. Hands-down, Cheesecake Factory has one of the widest selections of entrees on the menu. From burgers to pizza to seafood to steak to pasta. You can find what you are looking for at Cheesecake Factory. Or if you don't know what you want, you can always find one or two things on the menu to satisfy your hunger. This makes Cheesecake Factory an ideal choice for a group of people who can't agree on what to go out for.

2) Cheesecake. Ooo cheesecake. I never liked cheesecake until I came here. I never buy dessert at restaurants. But I always buy cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory. I don't think you'll find better cheesecake anywhere else. It's not cheap, but its so worth it. Do yourself a favor, don't eat all of your entree, save room for dessert. I highly recommend Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple.

So what are the downsides to Cheesecake Factory? 1) Crowded and 2) Food.

1) Crowded. If you go to the Cheesecake Factory, be prepared for the crowd. In downtown Seattle you might want to avoid this spot on the weekends. Otherwise, don't be surprised to wait over an hour. Weekdays there isn't a huge crowd, so that might be your best bet.

2) Food. Variety is great. But that is usually a sign that what you are getting might not be as good as a specialty restaurant. The food isn't bad, but it simply isn't great. I've had dishes that were really good (Lemon-Herb Roasted Chicken). I've had dishes that were ok (Beer Battered Fish and Chips). And I've had dishes that weren't good (Cheese Pizza). So my advice is: If you are craving steak, go to a steakhouse. If you are craving pizza, go to a pizza place. If you are craving Italian go to an Italian restaurant. If you don't know what you want to eat or you are craving cheesecake, come to the Cheesecake Factory.

I gave this place 4 stars simply because the cheesecake alone doesn't deserve anything less. I gave this place 4 $'s because you shouldn't leave without eating cheesecake and that can add some extra padding to the bill.
