I arrived at cheers backpackers with my receipt from booking online but when i arrived they had no record of my booking and told me to find somewhere else to stay. This was 28th december so everywhere was booked out!! They gave me my money back and said we're closed now. Goodbye. I couldnt believe it!! hostelbookers.com isnt very reliable or cheers are just dickheads that double book. Im going with the second one...
So we moved to mardi grais (excuse spelling). Awesum location but the room was so dirty. There were stains on our sheets and long black hairs all thru our shower in our 'private room', the whole room was just dirty. Overall, backpacking at surfers paradise is not something id like to remember....just a warning. |
