Cheektowaga Overview

Cheektowaga comes from the Native American phrase "Land of the Crab Apple". It is a suburb to the west of Buffalo, and is historically populated by Polish Immigrants.

Cheektowaga is the home of the buffalo Airport, one of the first ever playboy mansions, and is filled with many delicious restaurants to sample the "famous" cuisines of buffalo.

It also has Galleria Mall, which was a stomping ground of the late Tim Russert.

Cheektowaga is a great place to visit for someone who wants access to a long open road. During the summer, Travbuddy's can ride their motorcycles or drive through the usually low populated streets and enjoy the breeze from their vehicle. You can also go bowling at thruway lanes or stop at Duffs.
