Avoid Baggage Check-in Hassles Aug 01, 2011
If your airline computer information states that 1 or 2 bags are allowed free check in, bring that official information in writing. Otherwise big hassles. My story: Had a stopover in Amsterdam. Collected my luggage at bag claim. All good. But, two days later back to the airport. The baggage checker wanted me to pay for the second bag. They argued and threatened me. After an hour standing at the counter a supervisor was able to log into computer system showing Two bags included with my ticket.
